Thinking about green or any color smoothies:
Some things I used to add parsley (curly or Italian), kale, carrots, pear, apple, fresh ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, chia seeds, and flax seed meal.
Don’t be so concerned about calories. Nothing really nutritious adds that many calories. Try 1/2 apple, 1/2 pear one day, other half the next day, approx 100 calories daily. Of course you will have to start out using small amounts until your taste buds get excited about this experience. You may not need that much spinach either. You can also use raw beets in small quantity unless you feel comfortable with red colored urine, it’s kind of scary.We can talk more when we get together next Monday.
Also, you mentioned throwing all your supplements in the blender, I wasn’t sure if that was a good way to take them. I have a call in to the Phd, for clarification.
